Vision Statement

Inspiring future generations to embrace their cultural identity.

Vision: Reviving Our Identity Through Tamyik Lipi

Our vision is to preserve, promote, and institutionalize Tamyik Lipi — the indigenous script of the Tamang people — as a living symbol of cultural identity, unity, and pride. We aim to create a Nepal where:

  • Every Tamang child, youth, and elder is literate in Tamyik Lipi and empowered to use it in education, daily life, literature, and cultural expression.

  • Tamyik Lipi is integrated into formal and informal education systems, community learning centers, and digital platforms.

  • A vibrant new generation of Tamang writers, poets, teachers, and cultural leaders emerges, expressing themselves through their own script.

  • The script becomes an active part of everyday communication, signage, publications, and digital content within the Tamang community.

  • Tamang people reclaim their indigenous identity through language and script, fostering stronger roots and a united future.

Through this vision, we aim to build a culturally awakened, literate, and empowered Tamang society, grounded in its ancestral knowledge and identity.

Mission: One-Year Nationwide Campaign to Teach Tamyik Lipi

🤝 United Effort, Personal Commitment

This mission is not just a campaign — it is a personal and collective commitment to revive our script, language, and identity.

Wanju Wayba’s personal attendance in every district and province is a powerful step to show unity, motivate youth, and encourage elders to participate. His leadership will ensure that no Tamang community is left behind.

Together, with the support of Tamang Sangh Sastha, local organizations, cultural leaders, and community members, we will bring Tamyik Lipi to every home, every heart, and every generation.

Tamang Lipi classes have transformed my understanding of our culture and strengthened my connection to the community.
